Why does Dentesano exists?
Everything started with…
Angelo Dentesano and his warehouse where he used to age raw hams, then he began with the commercialization of cooked ham in bread crust in the typical “buffet” of Trieste. This business grew up very fast and with satisfying results that convinced Angelo’s son Sergio to buy a store with hot water boilers to cook the pork thighs and to start the production of cooked hams. The sales went hand in hand with the requests so that Sergio decided to build a factory in Percoto for the aging of raw hams and for the rimming and stock of fresh pork legs.
Friulano is our line of high quality cooked hams with certified traceability of the meat from regional farms who select the prestigious pork meat destined for the production of San Daniele ham.
